Vision Screening

Welcome to the Lakeshore Leos website. This website exists to generate interest about our club with an easy to use, informative website. Our goal is to inform anyone not familiar with the Leos about our activities, what drives us to serve our community, and to provide information about becoming a member.

Who Are the Leos?

Lions meet the needs of local communities and the world. Leos are the Lions of the future age 12-18 year old. We have one or more Lions Advisors to work with us on our community projects. We, like the more than 1.3 million members in 205 countries and geographic areas are different in many ways, share a core belief – community is what we make it. In line with Lions International, our overriding mission is to create and foster a spirit of understanding among all people for humanitarian needs by providing voluntary services through community involvement and international cooperation.

Community Calendar of Activities and Fund Raisers

As Leos, we support many community programs such as Eye Screening for Children pictured above. Our work also supports a long list of projects in Wisconsin like the Lions camp for handicapped and visually impaired children plus our work in conjunction with Lions worldwide. Please join us and support us with our mission.

This portion of our web site is being updated with our current fund raising and community events. Please check back again soon.

Leos are very active in BOLD - Blind Outdoor Leisure Development. Our winter events include snow tubing and skiing for VIPs - Visually Impaired Persons.

In Spring, Leos work with our local Harley Owners Group - HOG - for a BOLD ride for our VIPs. Of course, we have many other activates. Our favorite is Lions camp for handicapped and visually impaired children plus our work in conjunction with Lions worldwide. Please join us and support us with our mission.
